Denise and her husband Alan have been married for 25 years and have lived in Granbury for 17 years where they have developed friendships and community in St. Frances and Pecan Plantation. Denise enjoys exercise and can be seen walking, running, biking or working out at the YMCA. She and her family enjoy traveling anywhere the Lord will take them. Her favorite places to go is anywhere new. Denise is originally from West, Texas and has strong faith and Czech traditions. (Her mom still makes Kolaches from scratch!) Denise has been the DRE for PK – 5th grades for over 14 years. She has been blessed with this job and enjoys working with the children, parents and teachers. She is in charge of the First Communion Sacramental program, RCIA for children, Vacation Bible School, and Children’s Liturgy. Denise is currently on the Pastoral Council and the Why Catholic Board. Denise and Alan have two children, Erin and Alisha. Erin attends Texas Woman's University and Alisha attends the University of North Texas. They are joined at home with their dog Sassy and cats Dallas and Darcy. Denise received her Educational degree from Texas A&M University and her masters degree from University of North Texas.
